First Visit

If you have lab work, X-ray reports, MRI reports or other reports from your medical doctor or a hospital that were done within the past year, bring a copy along with you if possible. If you can get copies of the images from the X-rays or MRI, bring them too. Bring a list of your current medications and supplements.

Patient Forms

Upon entering our office you will be greeted and welcomed as a member of the Saint Cloud Chiropractic family. You will be asked to fill out our new patient forms as you relax comfortably in our peaceful guest area. This will provide us with important information about yourself and your health condition.

History Review

After reviewing all the information you provide, Dr. Cullinane will question you in more detail about your condition to better understand your unique case. You will also be asked questions about your past illnesses and injuries, the functioning of your organ systems and your overall health. This information is essential to understand your full health status and establish a working diagnosis.

Examination

After reviewing your health history, Dr. Cullinane will perform appropriate orthopedic and neurological examinations. These tests will confirm or sometimes alter the working diagnosis. They may also reveal problems that need to be addressed in your treatment plan.

X-Ray and Other Imaging Studies

Your specific condition may require x-rays, MRIs or other imaging studies to assist in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. They may also help rule out more serious conditions. If Dr. Cullinane feels an X-ray or MRI is necessary he will refer you to an imaging facility. This will provide the advantage of having a radiologist as part of your healthcare team.

Report of Findings

Once all the information and examinations have been reviewed, Dr. Cullinane will inform you if your case is appropriate for chiropractic care, what the goals of your care will be and what you can expect during the course of care.

If chiropractic care is determined not to be appropriate for your case, you will be referred to an appropriate provider.

Treatment

Patients will generally be provided with their first treatment which will consist of spinal adjustments at the conclusion of the appointment. The use of ice or heat, the avoidance of certain activities or positions, or other appropriate recommendations may be given. All plans for further treatment will be based upon how you respond to care.

Wellness Program

Exercise and nutritional supplementation may be added to enhance the improvement of your condition or overall health. An individual weight loss program can be developed. Detoxification programs are available. If you desire an overall wellness lifestyle, Dr. Cullinane will coach you to help you reach your optimal health.
